Myrtos is a graphic coastal settlement village located 49 km south of the town of Agios Nikolaos and 15 km west of Ierapetra.
Myrtos is a beautiful resort area with many accommodation possibilities and also numerous restaurants and super markets. Myrtos got its name from the plant Myrtia, or Myrthia, typical plant that grows in the region. It is a beautiful destination to spend lazy days on the beautiful beach with the graphic taverns. Ahead of the village is the beautiful beach of Mytros that is organized with umbrellas, shower chairs with coarse sand, and a few small pebbles and crystal clear waters that await you for incredible dives.
