Loutra beach is located 69 km south of Heraklion city, and 4 km east of the Lentas village.
The Loutra is beach with coarse sand and small pebbles and the waters are crystal clear and blue. The beach is partly organized with chairs, umbrellas and showers and nearby there are rooms for rent and a tavern. At this beach is not allowed nudism and camping. Here has built and the new port of Lentas. East of Loutra you can see (photo below) there is the cape that resembles the crocodile of Cleopatra that protects Lenta. Right behind is the beach of Trafoulas.
