Agia Pelagia beaches

Agia Pelagia is a popular tourist resort area with a population of 533 residents (2001 inventory) situated 24 km west of Heraklion in a beautiful location with spectacular views.
In Agia Pelagia you can find numerous taverns, restaurants hotels and rental villas, supermarkets, (ATM), small bars and coffee shops. In Agia Pelagia you can swim in Mononaftis beach in Psaromoura beach, in Kladisos beach, in Ligaria bay and in Madé. The main beach of Agia Pelagia is a beautiful beach with fine sand and is sheltered from the winds and northerly winds.
