Agia Barbara beach

Santa Barbara beach is located 41km east of Heraklion town.
It is a small beach in a bay, in front of the big hotel in the area. Santa Barbara beach is well organized with umbrellas and sun loungers and are also surrounded by trees. The beach takes its name from the church of Santa Barbara in the east. Across the bay is a small island where you can go swimming and put some stones for a wish. If you do not want to swim up there do not worry there is space and stones next to the church of St. Barbara.
