Maliou Riaki beach

The beach of Maliou Riaki, is 13 km east of Rethymnon.
The beach is organized with umbrellas, sun chairs, showers and a canteen. It's a beautiful beach because of the rocks that form a fascinating bay. The beach is pebbly and quite deep with rare beauty. East of the beach of Maliou, Ryaki beach, there is the beach Kamara and the Spilies (Caves) which are accessible only by boat and only at a calm sea. Such a ride you can make by renting a boat from nearby Scaletta. The entrance to the beach of Malia is from the gas station that is located in the way from Heraklion to Rethymnon, (there are signs).
