Potamos beach

Potamos (river) beach is located 38 km east of Heraklion town and 2,5 km east from Malia.
Potamos (river) beach has been awarded with a blue flag for 2013. This is a very beautiful sandy beach with clear water and rocky bottom. The beach is organized with umbrellas, shower chairs, lifeguard restaurant, beach bar etc. This beach is preferred by locals who want a more peaceful and quiet beach away from the crowded beaches of Malia.
