Castri beach is located 62 km south of Heraklion town, 1 km west of Keratokambos below the settlement Castri, pricey next to harbor area.
It is a beautiful beach with coarse sand and some pebbles. Along the beach there are trees. The beach is not organized at all and there are no amenities. Near the beach there are no restaurants exept from a canteen. Castri is a favorite beach for the locals.
