Agia Lake is located 10 km southwest of the city of Chania. It is an artificial lake created in 1928 in the catchment area of the river Keritis.
The lake is fed by water from the springs found in the bottom while the level of waters are not stable sometimes in summers is low. In Lake Saint operate two cafes from which you can see the beautiful scenery. It's a very nice attitude that you will surely enjoy a stroll in the Cretan countryside. Very close to Agia Lake (500 meters) lies the old christian church of Panagia that you can visit.
