Kalami Beach is located 15 km from the city of Chania. The beach is not very large (150 meters long) and it is sandy. On the beach there are some sun beds and umbrellas, but there are no dining options nearby. From the beach you can see the bay of Souda (the largest port in the Mediterranean sea and the main entrance to Chania town) the fort of Souda and within sort distance is found the ancient Aptera and fortresses Intzedin and Palekastro.
